COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Notice:
Dear Patient,

We hope you and your entire family are in good health. We are pleased to announce that we are officially reopening as of Monday, June 1st and are excited to be able to see you again.

Our community has certainly been through a lot these past few months. Although many things have changed, our commitment to your safety has remained the same.

As always, our practice is following infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and our local Delaware State Dental Society. We are closely monitoring the activities of these agencies, so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that is issued, and updating our policies and protocols accordingly.

As we re-open our practice, the safety of our patients and dental team continues to be our highest priority. We have implemented measures in response to
COVID-19, which will protect everyone visiting and working in our offices.

Some of what you will notice and experience will include:
  • Upon scheduling or confirming an appointment, our office will ask the patient various screening questions by phone. These questions will be asked, once again, when the patient arrives at our office for his or her scheduled appointment.
  • Our reception area is currently closed. Therefore, when you arrive, we ask that you remain in your car, and you call the office to begin your check-in procedure. A team member will then come out to greet you.
  • A mask is mandatory at this time, so please make sure that everyone in your vehicle is wearing their mask.
  • Every patient will be asked to sign an acknowledgement/consent form, have their temperature taken, and will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering the office.
  • Appointment times will be scheduled to allow for proper social distancing between patients.
For patients whose restorative and preventive appointments were cancelled during the closure and who do not have appointments, we will be reaching out to you to reschedule as soon as possible. If you have not heard from us and you need to be seen, please contact us immediately.

For patients who have appointments scheduled, we will be reaching out to you approximately three days before your appointment to confirm your appointment and to review our new procedures with you.

Please do not hesitate to call our office at 302-629-3008 with any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you and every patient safe.
We thank you for your continued trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back all of our patients.
